KOSTAL Solar App

The KOSTAL Solar App offers professional monitoring of your photovoltaic system. All functions can be conveniently accessed from your smartphone or tablet at any time.

To use the app, access to the KOSTAL solar portal and an installed inverter are required. The same login credentials as for the solar portal are needed to access the app.

General Information

The KOSTAL Solar App allows you to conveniently monitor your solar systems and display relevant system data from anywhere. You can access consumption and generation data over various periods such as day, week, month, and year, as well as historical plant data. Stay up to date with this app.

Start Page

On the start page, the current home consumption is graphically displayed along with a percentage. The diagram visually presents how your home consumption is covered by PV, a battery, or the public grid. A new feature provides a 3-day forecast for generation and home consumption.

You can view more areas with a simple swipe action on the individual tiles by swiping right or left. Clicking on the drop-down arrows allows you to display extended dates or periods.

Last Data

Under "Last Data," the last live values from the most recent transfer to your installation on the KOSTAL (PIKO) Solar Portal are shown. A new diagram displays home consumption [W], feed-in [W], generation [W], and values related to a battery.

If you don't have your own battery yet, you can activate a virtual battery using the KOSTAL Solar App to see the resulting savings. Experience it yourself and see what the Virtual Battery calculates for you.

History

Within "History," you can graphically visualize the historical data of your plant. Switch between daily, monthly, annual, and total values of domestic consumption and production. Navigate these views of house consumption and generation again with a swipe action.

A highlight of the KOSTAL Solar App is the virtual battery, where you can choose a desired capacity and calculate an individual forecast. The lower area displays an overview of your respective values (home consumption/production). Comparison of data from available periods shows weekly, monthly, or annual sections for immediate insights into income changes over previous years.

Extras

Additionally, with the KOSTAL Solar App, you can manage and monitor all your systems from the KOSTAL (PIKO) Solar Portal on your mobile device. The settings offer an explicit selection option to choose which plants are displayed in your selection list. Sharing events or information with friends is simple. Share your current earnings or total production from the last month effortlessly. Demonstrate to friends and family the advantages brought by your solar system in daily life.
